chair lift for the bath tub  
I am shopping for a bath chair lift for my mother, 88 yrs old. We are working with occupational therapists, but they are not familiar with the product. We will be paying out ot pocket, so qality and cost are serious partners in our choice. Any recommendations?

Two great bath lifts are the ameriglide and endres akkulift.

The ameriglide bath lift has a few optional accessories that can come with it for added safety such as harnesses, and a headrest. It can also come with a swivel seat. It attaches by using suction cups so it's very easy to install and move if you need to. This one comes with a 1 year warranty, including battery.

There's also the endres akkulift bath lift which is a well built bath lift and can come with some optional additions if you want them, but it doesn't offer harnesses. A great option however is the height adapters if you require them. This bath lift also comes with a 3 year limited warranty. This also attaches using suction cups so it's very easy to install and move.

Both of them are battery powered and lower and raise via a water proof controller.
