information  
want prices on lifts & ramps;;will med-care; caid help pay?
also have used =pronto,m71,sure step,w/tilt {5 yrs,old}real good shape used/only inside except too & from day care van,5 days a wk what is it worth ?????

Ramps/lift will be for Plymouth mini van THANKS

Medicare does not currently pay or reimburse for wheelchair lifts or ramps because they are not considered a medical necessity. However, you can get some wheelchair ramps and wheelchair lifts at some affordable prices. Wheelchair lifts vary greatly in types and prices however, and can range from around $500 to $2000. This ranges from ones that are manual operated exterior lifts, to interior powered lifts.

If you are wanting a wheelchair ramp for your van specifically for the side door, these are around $670. There are other ramps you can get for the rear that are cheaper, around $180 and upwards.

More and more discounts are given for ramps and lifts.The minimum discount is from $69 onwards.
