power back-up

Does anyone know if I can plug my mother's concentrator into a battery back-up unit -- a UPS -- as you can a computer?

I don't see why you couldn't. It will work the same, the UPS will provide soft power and change to the battery backup within it if the power were to ever fail. It doesn't matter what is plugged into it.
