CalHealth, Inc. manufacturing under the trademark MDMouse is developing home healthcare devices focused on internet connection. We develop common, everyday home medical devices into computer mice to accomplish this.

We chose this configuration to make the devices easy to use, faster and more accurate than conventional devices. We "borrow" the power of the pc to operate the tests. We also "borrow" the screen to display the test results. Currently the company has FDA Approval on a finger cuff blood pressure monitor and is devlopment on a glucose meter, pulse oximeter, peak flow meter and spirometer.

Because the devices are always connected to the computer they are never put away or misplaced. They download the test results in one step so that the patient need not take the additional steps neccessary to do this. These devices are less expensive to manufacture because only the sensing portion is needed, the pc does all the heavy lifting. Also, the devices can work with any pc.
