My doctor told me my blood sugar was a little above normal so I bought the Real Track Meter to keep an eye on my glucose levels. I did the pre-test on the machine and recalibrated it after the first 10 free strips were gone. I continually got 120 to 160 most of the time no matter when I tested myself. Really freaked me out after a month of testing and trying hard to eat better and exercise and still no improvement. I finally bought a TrueTest meter and tested my glucose using both machines from the same blood draw. The True Test meter gave me results all in the 90′s where as the True Track still gave me readings between 120 & 160. My doctor finally tested me again with a fasting blood glucose tolerance test and it came out 113. After a month of worrying about too high of a blood glucose, I can only assume that the True Track was incorrect and my worries were for nothing. But it’s still an eye opener when you begin to watch the sugar intake and actually see how bad your eating habits can be, so the month was a learning experience.
