| I received Inconsistant readings so I Asked about the wrist models at the local pharmacy. They told me they were not accurate, so I sent mine back to Amazon and bought an arm cuff automatic model. This style is Very accurate(for me) and I am very pleased with it. |

| My doctor recommended this little unit to me and I am very happy with it. I compared other units but this one was the easiest to use and reasonably accurate. It is a little difficult to program initially and sometimes it will give you false readings - either very high, or very low - if you don't get it placed on your wrist properly. I like the fact that it just snaps around my wrist, shows the results quickly, and compiles the daily records. But the real PLUS in my opinion is the software that accompanies this instrument. It's easy to install, fairly intuitive, and it gives me many, many options for reading and saving the information. It is a great tool for helping me track my progress towards lowering my blood pressure. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for such help. |

This blood pressure measure device is great! You can buy it sure that you will get a very precise instrument, its measures are equal to any doctors' professional instrument measures.
It is super easy to use: just place it on your wrist (this OMRON will help you put your arm in the correct position), then press start, just this! Wait until the measure finishes.
I bought it from Amazon.com and it arrived perfect and on time.
This is a MUST HAVE product for those who want to take care blood pressure closely. |

| When my doctor said I had high blood pressure and I should start monitoring it I purchased cuff type, cumbersome. My brother-inlaw had a wrist one and I decided to purchase one since it was so much easier to use. I chose the Omron HEM-670T for all the features it had. I am able to print readings to take to my doctor, which have helped to determine what medcine doseage is working the best. |

The featured OMRON device uses technology similar to WELBY DELUXE AUTOMATIC DIGITAL Blood Pressure Monitor which I purchased several years ago. The illustrations for both look wonderful - but only the OMRON device works OK - when it works - and the Welby device does not work at all. all I see are tiny dashes. In this category I now see a MABIS device which looks IDENTICAL to the WELBY unit. Don't know the relationship between WELBY and MABIS. I'll research further and see what "LIFETIME WARRANTY" means. Would be nice to have a FUNCTIONING Welby device to compare with the OMRON HEM-670IT device in this review. It appears that all brands of this type of device use similar technology to display data. NOW SPECIFICS ON THE HEM-670IT.
Worth mentioning: I have ALL THREE OMRON DEVICES: Pedometer, Chest Pulse Monitor and HEM-670IT Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor. The first two Omron units work very well and ONLY the HEM-670IT has problems as below.
Cover for battery compartment keeps popping off. Very poor design of battery cover. Other features are very good - WHEN THEY WORK. I purchased the OMRON HEM-670IT from Amazon. If one follows positioning instructions carefully, OMRON unit SOMETIMES works OK. But is QUITE temperamental and MAY take several tries before one gets a meaningful final display. WHEN it works, it works. More of an art than a science. Moving it a minuscule almost imperceptible distance SOMETIMES works OK and yields a final USEFUL display. When - and if - it works, the data displayed is fairly consistent with that obtained at a medical clinic using their standard arm blood pressure measurement procedures. All in all, I like the design of the HEM-670IT.
A Google search of "OMRON HEM-670IT" yields 89,500 hits beyond VERY USEFUL AMAZON USER REVIEWS.

| Device emits sound when arm is in the correct position making it easy to know you've got it right. Its display is also easy to read. Only drawback that I see is that only one person's info can be saved for tracking purposes. Highly recommend it for anyone needing to monitor their blood pressure. |

If you have any hearing loss, DO NOT purchase the Omron HEM-670IT Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor. You have to be able to hear the very low beeps on this monitor, which tells you when your arm is in the correct position to take your blood pressure, and which you cannot turn up any louder.
I purchased this for my father, who has hearing loss and wears top of the line hearing aids, and it's an unusable purchase for him. I highly recommend you look for another if you are planning to but this Omron HEM-670IT Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor. |
