This was a great purchase. I am glad that I chose this meter. I like the computer print out.
Husband saw mine, had to have one too.

Been using this one for over a year now. I had an earlier version that did not download the data to the computer. I replaced it with this one and gave my old one to my husband. Once he saw what the new one did, he wanted one too. (The old one was passed along to a relative).

The device seems to be pretty accurate, but I have had an infrequent oddball reading. I have taken it to doctor's offices and it seems to be right on the mark.

The charts are an easy way for doctor's to quickly scan the data, much easier than looking at all the raw data points.

My one complaint is with the software - wish it had more options for displaying data. Supposedly there is a way to ignore certain data points, but for me, it only works when printing out raw data and not on charts. (i.e. If I have taken three readings in a few minutes time, I would like only one reading to count, not all three.) Using all three skews the results. There is a way to set the unit so that it will average several readings taken within a short period of time.

I do enjoy not spending the evening before a doctor's appointment entering by hand all of my blood pressure readings. The unit is sturdy - it has taken lots of abuse from me. Batteries are easily replaced.

Excellent Product. This replaces an Omron Monitor that I had for several years.
The technology is superb. The only reason that for replacement was this
newer technology. I highly recommend this product.
So far, so good

I've had this monitor for 2 weeks, checking my blood pressure twice daily (morning/evenings) and I find it is very accurate. I took it to my doctor's office to compare it with the office's arm cuff monitor and it was right on. The previous Omron monitor I owned (no longer being made) was not accurate at all, much to my dismay after I had it checked.

This monitor is very easy to understand and use. My only disappointment with it was when I installed the software to my computer, I noticed that the readings/memory can only be saved for 1 person at a time, not 2 (like the more expensive arm cuff monitor). Thus, if I want my husband to monitor his blood pressure so that we can keep track of it, we'd have to take turns every other week and select his name instead of mine when downloading information from monitor. For historical tracking, we can save the weekly download files on a .csv format for each one of us.

Both monitor and software are easy to use. I would recommend this monitor to my family and friends.

Omron HEM-670IT - does not function well

Reviewer: caring daughter,
I have never been able to get a systolic BP reading of over 99 with this product. Office BP runs 120s to 140s over 70s to 80s. Incredibly disappointing.
Convenient

The Omron HEM-670 is convenient to use, store, carry, transmit readings to computer, edit.

However, I plan on comparing it to the doctor's blood pressure equipment's reading at my next check up. My Omron HEM-670 always gives me a read out of lower than 120/80. Typically it reads approximately 113/73.

I agree, some days I might have low blood pressure, like today I was EXHAUSTED so I checked my blood pressure in case low blood pressure was the culprit. Omron HEM-670 read: 96/58. Nothing to be afraid of. It would have to be 90/60 to be borderline low. I'm still healthy.

I always wonder if my Omron HEM-670 is reading maybe even a tiny bit low. I wonder why I can't reach 120/80.

Calibrated with my doctor's office, this wrist monitor is extremely accurate. I love that it has a desktop interface to monitor and house your history and pressure readings.
The travel case and price is also a nice feature.

This cuff works great. I recommend it to everyone who has fibromyalgia. It hurt so bad when I had it taken with the arm cuff my blood pressure went up. False high.
If you get this cuff you will be totally satisfied.
