Is 100% cotton ok for nursing scrubs?

Nursing scrubs made of 100% cotton are very comfortable, however they tend to shrink and fade after washing. The most popular type of medical scrub is a 65/35 polyester/cotton blend. These are a bit more durable and will last much longer.
